    Throughout , JobKeeper & the cash flow boost have been critical lifelines for Australians like the 12 staff at Barton Milkbar in Hawthorn. Our economy is in a strong position as more businesses graduate off JobKeeper & the economic comeback continues.

    At the height of the pandemic, repayments were deferred on $250 billion in home & small business loans. But in good news, with the economic recovery underway, repayments have started again for around 80% of those home loans & around 90% of small business loans.

    In a week when we marked the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, and reflected on all the horrors and tragedies of the Holocaust, it was a privilege to visit with and talk with Holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku, a man of great wisdom.

    Over the summer break I read an exceptional book by a remarkable man, Holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku OAM. Thank you for hosting me and . Was a pleasure to meet Eddie. The Happiest Man on Earth is a moving read and offers much perspective. Recommended.
