New to the inbox... Apparently a carnival is being held at the Arizona State Fairgrounds this weekend.

RCS Fun, which operates the rides, games, and some concessions at the Arizona State Fair, is putting on this event, per a fair spokesperson.
RCS Fun held a carnival in March at the Phoenix Premium Outlets parking lot.

Currently, the Arizona state Senate is conducting its election audit at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, which is located at the fairgrounds.
The 2021 state fair will not be held at the fairgrounds. It will be held at the Gila River’s Wild Horse Pass, south of Phoenix.

Additional questions have been emailed to the Arizona State Fair’s marketing department, such as where people will park, security questions for the public & with respect to the audit, and out of curiosity, who planned the event, why, and why now?

Re: masks being recommended and not required.
"As a state entity, we follow the Governor's directives," a spokesperson for the fairgrounds said.
