  1. If we can all agree that football is a team game and a poor defense impacts offensive production, can we also agree that an offense that has the 2nd highest rate of 3 and outs in the NFL since 2014 hasn't helped the defense too?

Mostly agree with you. But as I told last year -- and he reminded me recently -- if the Raiders sign Tom Brady, I'll be at Napa for training camp at least once. They'll retain Bay Area relevance.

W/L is a team stat. The coach and QB probably have biggest influence on it. Right or wrong, teams typically don't stick with a QB as long as have with Carr with only 1 successful season

I was pretty young during Archie's time so don't remember if they called him great. I do agree that organization got the blame. Manning's OL had 0 Pro Bowl appearances in his career. have 8 since 2014

Shout out to Raleigh McKenzie. It’s hard not falling asleep watching it live at stadium. There were some bad quarterbacks in Group 2.

For those upset about 2016 technicality: If start Derek Carr in Week 1, they will be 2nd team since merger to start same QB for 7 straight openers despite losing record in 5/6 pvs years. Giants did it last year w/ Eli. But they drafted QB in 1st round and Eli won 2 SBs

29 QBs have started 40+ games since 2014. The 20.3 points per game for Derek Carr in those games rank 27th in that span, ahead of only Jay Cutler (20.0) and Case Keenum (19.6)
