When you've always been in a position of privilege, equality feels like oppression.

The fact that you can type “Straight White Male” and you can’t type out the actual N-word tells me you don’t even believe what you’re saying.

A term used to minimize your opinion is NOT the same as one meant to minimize your humanity. Doesn't matter how it's used, the SWM-words are not that offensive.

We won the demographic lottery. We're playing life on Easy Mode. Think deeply about your position in this world and all the influence we have because of our sexual identity, our race, and our gender. Then grow a thicker skin, especially if you're supposed to be a comedian.

I appreciate your thoughtfulness. However, I disagree. Saying I’m a SWM only devalues my opinion if I’m trying to be an expert on POC, LGBT, or women’s issues, especially in the face of people actually live those realities. The N-word devalues a person’s humanity.

Lmfao your trolling right? It can never be questionably similar until there are horrific ordeals intrinsically linked to the word and the people victimised by its usage...

The term he cited also doesn’t aim to diminish the person or their character... at most it’s there to diminish the impact of their experience due to an acknowledgement of an easier life
