Thanks Catherine! Without the support of you and the trustees this paper would likely not have come to be. I was very fortunate for the opportunity.

I don't get it. This journal explicitly recognizes that preprints accelerate a field. Why not encourage them across the board, instead of as a special exception?

I'm incredibly excited to share my recent work on HySyn, a method to reconstitute an artificial synapse to remodel neural circuits in vivo. This project began as an application to that let me join the for an outstanding summer of science.

I am quoted in this article. I do not know the specifics of the tenure case, but I do know this: the systematic failure of our institutions to have representation from people of color is not a failure of the individuals, it is a failure of the institutions

When I was a kid, I couldn't order off the Carl's Jr dollar menu because of cost. Yet, I was expected to pay +$1200 for a MCAT test prep course🤔 Privileged to have a voice in the on the barriers that low-income medical students face.

Thread following up concept I discussed , which I believe is very imp for neuroscience: the bias of ‘human brain exceptionalism’. Our thought that human brain is the most amazing, complex, unique, etc organ, & how that bias affects discovery. Dedicated to students
