No apparently the first thing we do is break out the “jump to conclusions” mat, and release a story that is destined to turn into a national firestorm before doing our due diligence with regard to the facts.

the first thing we did was spend 10 days reporting before we got confirmation about DCF and league investigations. I get that you do t want to read it. Nobody wants it to be true. We can’t ignore it.

The framing of the report by the Star and others is what I find irresponsible. “Tyreek Hill being investigated” evolves into a much different narrative than “Incidents that occurred at home of Tyreek Hill being investigated”.
