If Trump wins, Silver will blame Trump voters and say they purposefully fed pollsters bad data so he isn't to blame. The Trump voter in the abstract is to blame for ruining polling for everyone.

He along with other Dem operatives and pundits are SHOCKED at the current early vote totals in FL. They all know it’s a harbinger of other swing state trends. The pollsters tried to adjust for the “non college white male vote” but had no idea of its volume and ferocity in 2020.
