Proponents of a practice don’t *ever* think there’s anything wrong with what they do. Expecting advocates of male #circumcision to admit it’s abusive, unethical practice is like expecting advocates of #FGM to admit it’s abusive, unethical practice. It’s never going to happen. #i2

Then we need to stop lobbing them and make an END RUN around them by taking the issue directly to the parent-child interface.

I think the best solution is to go to the source and hit ‘em where it hurts; right in the pocket book. This isn’t going to end until it’s a liability to drs rather than an asset. ‘Till then, the best you can do is beg or harass parents not to cut. Good luck with that.

How do you plan to do that? People tried to stage a boycott of Olympic Circumstraint in the 90s which went nowhere. And no, it is about providing severe negative consequences for circumcising your kids & radicalizig young people against circumcision. Look at my tweet last night.

“...it is about providing severe negative consequences for circumcising your kids...” You think it’s feasible to “provide severe negative consequences” for parents who agree to have their children circumcised, rather than indict the few who actually do it?

Yes, because the parent-child interface is the soft underbelly of the circumcision paradigm. We need to be talking about awakening and culture shift like Marotta is talking about. I have some video from my circumcision trick-or-treating last night that you are gonna just LOVE!

Brendon talks about being tired of addressing every circumcision on Facebook. I share his sentiment. 1.3 million circumcisions happen a year in this country. There has got to be a more effective way than trying to go after each and every one. #i2
