You really think only 4mm is cut off in a circumcision? I would be so lucky if that's all that was taken.

Does that look like 4mm of skin there? and remember this is off the infant penis, which is barely an inch or two long, so yes, it's half of the skin of the penis.pic.twitter.com/doLbVZBIBu

Then the patients under your care who you betray your oath "Primum non nocere" and duty to are luckier than I was, and far luckier than any boy in an orthodox jewish bris.

Their parents sign an informed consent. I don’t say pro or con. It’s the parents’ choice, take it up with them. Further, the data on decreased STI is very clear.

"Consent" my ass. The parents don't own the body being circumcised. They should have NO RIGHT to make that choice. And no, the data on decreased STI is infamous for being extremely blurry and flawed. I can't believe you just said that. You have no idea what you're talking about.pic.twitter.com/xKjWey0nL1

Consent your ass, sounds fine. And let’s not cut your hair or bathe you or get your teeth cleaned or vaccinate you or make you eat your veggies until you’re 18.

Because cutting off part of a person’s genitals is just like cleaning a child’s teeth, vaccines and diet choice right? So by your standard parents should be able to opt for this, since they’re the parents right?

I'd imagine you could significantly reduce breast cancer if you mutilated girls' bodies in just the right way. But that would be grossly immoral regardless, as you're mutilating perfectly good bodies. Just like how infant circumcision would be wrong even if foreskin were a danger

Oh I am sure you could eliminate it, no breasts, no breast cancer, that would prevent the 1 in 8 women who get breast cancer from getting the disease. You know that number is higher than the number of boys that would have gotten some issue or illness from being intact. That is >>

1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer according to the American Cancer Society. Compare that to the risk of penile cancer *given the circumcision/cancer research is correct*. Early prostate removal would make more sense. #i2

Let’s cut the risk of testicular, kidney, eye, (what other pair could you live with one of for the rest of your life?)-cancer in half. Where does it stop?
