For nearly a decade, MRA's have made themselves allies. Girls have been protected from mutilation since the 90's. And the west left the male half of the population behind. Intersex babies, a slim minority, will probably see their human rights recognized before males.

The MRA element is altogether a minority of anti-circ activism (and it's far from their biggest concern) yet their association is endlessly treated as representative and used to dismiss and demonize the entire thing.
-
I think the MRA movement is treated unfairly. But the anti-mutilation movement includes ppl from many walks of life and sometimes differing political views.

To be fair, I’ve looked into it, and though it looks wholesome on the outside, it seems like it is just a bunch a PUA pigs. I used to think men need a voice, and this might be it, but the more I looked into it, the more I felt like “No thanks...”

Sad, because we need a men’s movement that is taken seriously.
-
MRA could have thrown their weight behind circumcision because it really truly is something men have almost no rights with, and feminism has legitimately made it worse. And it's one of the absolute worst things done to men.
-
And so much else stems from it. Instead they concern themselves with tired shit like "the family courts" which has a pronounced element of confirmation bias and paranoia.

So not wanting infant boys is misogyny now? Do people not realise that it’s not just boys we are fighting for, but against ALL child mutilation?!
