The creation of new Mediums makes it even more important to update your signal filtering mechanisms. We are slowly seeing old power structures figure out, and enter the space. As viewership and influence of the new Mediums grow, this is a game theoretically expected outcome.

Very interesting thread, I wonder if it is a chicken and egg arguement. For example, Tesla is now making some of the same mistakes that big auto did. Are the MSM infiltrating or do real life issues (production value or mass assembly) drive this change?

True, what I was imagining was the fact that often, when given time and success the disruptors take on the negative characteristics of those they disrupted. I was just reading how Netflix was looking into purchasing movie theaters...

Think about how similar YouTube is now to the old TV model. In the age of megacorp interest, “disrupters” are molded back into status quo. The price for monopoly/oligopoly is innovation and evolution.
