I find myself torn on some of the advice from 'successful' people. On one hand, I like their honesty. Many of them fully acknowledge that old paths do not offer the opportunities that they did in the past for them, and that the system is failing and not rewarding who it should.

For context: I went to a top-tier uni, worked at a start up (brutally cut-throat), saved enough $ and hit tech investments, now I trade derivatives independently, but see no path towards getting back into the workforce on acceptable terms to me.
