Replace “organized religion” with “spirituality” or “inner tranquility”; and you’ll have me. The problem is most certainly not the loss of an organized social construct spewing nonsensical rules and regulations but of the self.

Organized religion traditionally filled that hole. Regardless of our opinions of it. I agree with you that an individual interpretation of spirituality is most desirable, but it still remains that the collapse of organized religion has led to mass metaphysical searching.
