I can sort of understand why Harris & Peterson enrage the critical theory set, because they each violate contemporary taboos, unashamedly. But Pinker? That animus I do not understand.
Jay, ever read any of taleb’s work? Pinker makes the worst kind of statistical mistakes in his analysis. He never acknowledges fat tail risk. Additionally, he never acknowledges that existential risk that has risen exponentially over the last century. (GMO, nuclear, crispr, etc)

Disappointing to see Peterson fall victim to the same mistakes recently too. (Big Peterson fan)
