The act of seeing it as “inevitable” carries a very serious metaphysical assumption, with incredible consequences. I’ll need to think more seriously about whether you are correct about it being “inevitable”, but EVERYTHING is riding on that assumption.

The comment I would make is that I don't really agree on the dependence of each stage of the Kardashev scale. I don't think we would ever want to use all the energy from our parent star
