Shapiro’s adherence to the claim that science is a product of judeo-Christian society is baffling to me. I’ve heard him make this argument so many times, yet it still strikes me just as incoherent as the first time.
Yeah he doesn’t bring up science in this one, but he often does. He just chalks up everything after the judeo-Christian tradition began to being only attainable through it. Which obviously is a historical record fallacy. This is my critique with #idw, why no growth?

Yeah that’s about right. As an observer, it seems odd that almost no one says anything like “oh thats a good point, I never thought of it like that.. I’ll have to think about that.” Why is that so out of bounds. I’ve really only seen JBP do that.
