Shapiro’s adherence to the claim that science is a product of judeo-Christian society is baffling to me. I’ve heard him make this argument so many times, yet it still strikes me just as incoherent as the first time.
He makes the claim that morality, as well as science come out of judeo Christian values. To be clear I’m not arguing against Christianity. I think the stories are absolutely beautiful, especially the garden of eden. I would say Buddhism plants the seeds of its own takedown.

If that’s his argument, then how does he explain the non-Christian, non-Jewish world’s use of, and discoveries in, science? Do you have a link? Curious.

It was in his latest talk with Sam Harris. I think Ben gets a lot right, but once it goes to religion (which he thinks is his wheelhouse), it just seems to descend into almost total incoherence, every time.
