Yes... I believe it is because my number is no longer in use and that I am using my laptop in a different location... in the past I've verified with the mobile number. I get to the point of receiving a verification code but then a message says can't verify it is my account/

I have already tried this option several times too and again now. There is no option for 'moved country and phone number no longer works'. I have tried the other choices but end up with the same issue.'Google can't verify this is you'. #SOS
