So if the French regulation of digital resale is upheld, would single player games start getting sold as physical exclusives in order to add friction to the resale process and to build in some level of quality degradation over time to limit the infinite quality and resale of dig?
I think it would push more single player-only games to launch exclusive to subscription services. Can't resell something you don't own.

The market for subs is not the market for sony or Nintendo launches, thats more a Xbox and pc strategy. Sony and Nintendo are much more likely to take the physical exclusive route to limit quality of resale etc.

I’m talking big box day one launch here may I add , so Spider-Man , smash etc. This is completely the opposite of there market moves anyway. But sure I could easily see xbox pulling a shitty DRM move to counter a law
