Non-profits can't have investors. In the field reporting is A LOT more expensive than sitting in studio chatting. We will need ongoing viewer-powered subsriptions along with progressive investors. No worries: the Kochs nor neoliberal moguls will be investing : )

Investors want profits. If they don't like what you're doing, they pull out. Or worse, convince you to change your approach. This, IMO, is what happened to TYT. It happens to all of those with good intentions. I'm pulling for you, but still conflicted. Thanks for the reply tho!

Investors who decide to go with me will know exactly what they are doing and have zero editorial control. If things I cover/champion don't work for them, they won't invest. I will not be kissing behinds or bending my principles for $$ with strings attached!
