She also admitted to YT making it “harder, in some cases, for channels, maybe who are getting started or smaller, to be able to be visible when there’s a major event or when people are looking at something that is science or news related”

Could you maybe list some lesser known alternatives for creators? I'm genuinely curious what's out there aside from Twitch, IG, or Tik Tok.

Honestly, I think YT should work to mitigate the effectiveness of the Alt-Right pipeline. These steps aren't great, but help w/r/t to political content on YT.

Quite a biased story with no principle of charity in interpretation. It reads in a manner to make only the worst possible case out of their statements. For clarity, that does not mean I agree with YT policy, only that that story was garbage reporting.

I don't agree. She specifically states that YouTube's algorithm's are 'fine-tuned' to artificially push sources from individuals or networks THEY FIND TO BE AUTHORITATIVE' to the top of results. The key word is 'authority'. This falls along the lines of fascism.
