Where a man was basically declared guilty by tweet damn the facts. But definitively--the accusation made against me was 100% false and the woman made it up (with quite a lot of goating from the HuffPo author and others in a FB chat). Despite this, I support the #MeToo
movement..

and survivors bc there are A LOT of bad men in the world and workplace and MANY of those accused are guilty of horrific acts of violence and abuse. In my case, it simply was not true but, unfortunately, I was an early example of a herd-mentality rush to judgment. In conclusion...

I hope people who spend most of their days/lives on the Internet learn to more carefully/closely vet information and accusations of ANY kind--and not merely draw conclusions based on tribalism or ideology or whatever the hot Twitter hashtag of the moment is.

Ty was so flatout grateful for u giving him a break, of course he sided with your side of the story. I call that + the groupy female who was there who had been with you since Standing Rock “tribalism” Of course y’all covered against the accuser. It was group sex, group rape, imo

A) Ty was an employee of TYT...they gave him a job, not me. He was also falsely accused by the accuser B) Jenn already worked with me for months before the accusation. Her and I were already working on launching our own media company b4 the accusation c) You are spreading lies

Ty was LITERALLY hired as a freelancer in January 2017. I didn't know him at the time. He then worked with me for half a year as freelance (again hired by TYT without me knowing him). Yes, I recommended to Cenk to hire him full time and they did (because he earned it)...

So again--you are saying
@tommie_tyhefe publicly lied and defended a man who assaulted a woman because "I got him his job" (even though he was hired before I even knew who he was). Ok, done with you since you're obviously not operating in good faith.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

You’d have to be not in good faith (or in denial) to *avoid* seeing the abuse of power and loyalty bias indicated from the basic facts of the story

"Abuse of power" and loyalties is not the same thing as sexually assaulting a woman. The former is bad--the latter is criminal. I have never assaulted a woman in my life and never would. You are simply spreading a lie that you know nothing about...

I did have a consensual relationship w/ a woman who volunteered for me at my non-profit news outlet. That was inappropriate of me and I publicly said so 3 years ago. I learned from it. With that said, I did not assault her and never would. You lying that I did is disgusting.
