jordan someone who is not american conspired to break into classified govt files. he then proceeded to utilize his publishing site to control what was released from his site, when it was released while coordinating w a US political candidate to influence a presidential election

A) 2016 is not what U.S. is trying to extradite him for. They are citing 2010/Chelsea Manning B) still ZERO evidence Russia was Assange’s source or that he had anything to do with “hacking” DNC (which by the way, Crowdstrike’s CEO admits they have no conclusive evidence of)

half of what i said still stands which you dont dispute. Assange helped someone hack into a US classified govt site. is that not a punishable crime to you?

Unlike you, I don’t naively believe whatever the government—much less Donald Trump’s DOJ—claims. Obama’s DOJ had the SAME EXACT INFO and decided there was not legal or constitutional grounds to charge him. You are naive

Whether he did or didn’t—this is LITERALLY what journalists do all the time. They urge and in many cases manipulate sources to obtain information illegally. If Assange “suggested passwords”—it was not to help Chelsea Manning obtain NEW DOCUMENTS—but to conceal her identity

Since you are not a journalist, you probably don’t understand...a journalist’s top responsibility is to protect source identity..hence what Assange was doing was what journalists are supposed to do.

Do you think the Washington Post journalists passively sat idle and told Daniel Ellsburg-“sure just give us the documents whenever.” No, they coaxed and urged him. You are extremely naive and gullible to govt propaganda
