After we interviewed Anthony, Status Coup viewers came through with over $12,000 via GoFundMe to help Anthony avoid eviction (he owed several months and couldn't easily move his terminally ill wife). Despite this, his landlord CONTINUED pushing them out and cut off plumbing.

Anthony is one of the quiet heroes, whose JOB was harder than man of us working 2-3. He cleaned Sarah, fed Sarah, moved her to and from bed/bathroom and tended to her 24/7 for several years of her illness (ataxia). Most of all he loved her when she needed it most. RIP Sarah.

Instead of solely focusing on his terminally ill wife in the final days of her life, Anthony had to deal with a landlord cutting off his utilities and threatening him. This country needs its collective head examined.

I was on my way as soon as I got the call from my mom.... My mom said she told Sarah that Anthony is coming and then she smiled and then passed away.
