No, Jordan! This is a statement Lacy Clay’s father, not @CoriBush’s opponent.

Oh please! That money came from people like me, little donations of lots of regular people who are struggling very much right now. Shame on the Clay family for tarnishing a grass roots movement that they themselves could not get, and they took corporate money. No more grift 4 U

I donated 3 times that I remember to Cori at $28 each time, though I've lived in MO-2 for the last 15-16 years, before that I lived in MO-1 around North County area. I don't know your location, but I'd likely be considered being an outside funder, & Clay gets business funding.pic.twitter.com/MeIzEX9J0y

lol at least we didn't use a superpac. Cori convinced people they should vote for her, the money only helped to carry her voice to the voters, just like Lacey. Lacey didn't convince them. deal with it.

I would guess me living in MO-2 for the last ~15 years but having lived in MO-1 for my first ~23 years I count as an "outside money source". Meanwhile some of these PACs do have branches in the St. Louis area, but not all of them. https://www.opensecrets.org/members-of-congress/contributors/william-l-clay-jr?cid=N00012460&cycle=2020 … Must be ok sources.pic.twitter.com/qbe2G7pRhh
