The statute of limitations for felony misconduct in office related to the #FlintWaterCrisis is in 2 days. MI AG hasn’t charged anyone in 16 months. Her team has had the below since fall 2019https://twitter.com/JordanChariton/status/1253384807880499201 …

Kym worthy’s office is telling the public that there are exceptions to the 6yr limit rule. In other words, they have longer than 6yrs.

Yea—would love to see that exemption. Both Hammoud and Worthy were the ones who said they were facing the statute of limitations in 9 months (in June 2019)https://www.mlive.com/news/flint/2019/06/flint-residents-express-hope-and-skepticism-at-water-crisis-forum.html …

Hey, did your team find out why the original charges against the officials were suddenly dropped by the ex AG?

Can only speculate why—but based on my reporting and sources, I don’t think they’ve been completely honest and forthcoming

You’re in the business of investigative research, your objective is to discover facts. From these facts you develop related facts, And you’re telling the public you can only speculate why the previous charges were dropped?

Reporting includes sources close to the matter you're reporting on that aren't able 2 offer PROOF but offer informed opinion. Sources close to Flint investigation shared they believe charges were dropped to stop alleged KWA pipeline bond fraud from going forward in criminal court

if that went forward in criminal court, there was a chance for bondholders (big banks/wealthy investors) to demand their money back....and the state of Michigan would then be on the hook for hundreds of millions of dollars
