As the planet burns, people ration insulin, 500k sleep on the streets, perpetual U.S. war continues—it takes a lot of privilege to say I’m not going to support the best candidate to fight to end these things bc I feel people were mean to me on Twitterhttps://twitter.com/emilycheath/status/1235600273223094277 …

As someone who has been out for 25 years, attacked verbally and physically, and lost work for my identity, it's not about someone being "mean" to me online. It's about genuinely being worried that this man can't build support.

I respect that and actually covered trans people being assaulted in St Louis . It is horrific. But as far as the coalition I think you may be losing sight of some important points. 1) Bernie and Warren’s supporter base is bigger than Biden/Pete/Amy (ton of overlap bw Warren/Pete)

A weak Dem in 2016. Bernie is CRUSHING in Latinos all over country (and it wouls put Arizona in play). Bernie also has ALWAYS done very well among independent voters (beat Hillary in most open primaries). Biden will have very low support among young people, young Af Americans..

Not saying Bernie is a sure thing, but I can tell you in a general election, Biden is a horrible contrast to Trump in the key stated needed to win back. Once Trump hammers him on trade it will be over. He also has lied numerous times about his civil rights record...

Which Trump will hammer him with the $200 million he has banked. It will suppress the black vote further for him (the media has given Biden a complete pass on it/Biden won’t)
