Yes and I think this played into the same narrative, it looked like she had caved; people coupled it with the DNA thing, and mixed in with this NYT poll concluded she'd couldn't beat Trump. I can't count the number of people who've told me, I love her but she can't win

So in a bid to attract back those NYT readers, she lost support from her more progressive base. Ultimately resulting in that NYT readers not wanting to return to a candidate whose polling numbers were in freefall.
