I actually paid you 100s when TYT first hired you Jordan, this is depressing for me honestly. Yang is bringing things to the table, in Bernie's own words. Stop this assumed malice persecution campaign against Yang. Maybe we can actually fix shit before we all die.

Reporting on candidates policies, flip flops, hypocrisy, etc is my job. It’s not malice-it’s called reporting. I actually reached out to interview Yang multiple times—no response. I also interviewed
#UBI advocates on@StatusCoup. Sorry reporting on your preferred candidate2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

Clearly flip flopping on a major policy is “malice” to you. I happen to think Yang being in the race has been a good thing. But not going to close my eyes and not report when he’s wrong or his policies don’t add up

Your reporting is influenced by the thousands of tweets calling Yang a snake. You are more prone to believe negative stories about Yang, and not see if there is truth that is being covered up. You need to do some investigative reporting into Yang, talk to him, push him.

Tweets calling Yang a snake are not a thing-at least not from me. My reporting is informed by research and interviews with health policy experts. Yang’s plan hinges on a lot of unilateral action that are not permissible and require Congress to approve. He can’t just unilaterally

Index drug prices based on international standards.

That's not what he's saying. He's saying lower your prices to intl. standards or we'll manufacture your drug as a generic. Because it's our patents these companies our using. We can threaten to manufacture insulin on them ourselves if they don't comply.

Yang is for using carrots and sticks to push change into a
#HumanityFirst way. He just prefers the carrot to the stick. But he's serious.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

Anyways I wasn't saying you were calling Yang a snake. I'm saying that a lot of the perception about Yang has been tainted by that language, and the things people say about Yang. It causes great distrust between us, folks just need to see where Yang's coming from.

I’m not against Yang. I support UBI (although I think his version is flawed). I just think there are other aspects of his platform that are weak—like healthcare. I think offentimes, his supporters are so passionate about UBI, they ignore the other stuff.

I happen to think him in the race has been a good thing as well. But I’m not going to blindly ignore inconsistencies (he plainly did commercials saying his plan was M4A) just bc it triggers his supporters. Sorry
