#YangGang will defend @AndrewYang’s flip flopping on #MedicareForAll just like they defend his Republican talking points on the minimum wage. But Yang is not going to deliver the economic relief his supporters thinkhttps://twitter.com/Ibrahimpols/status/1211357863148429315 …

This is where you need to think harder... Yang believes healthcare is a right of citizenship. M4A has two giant challenges - expanding physical coverage to the underserved and reigning in costs so we aren’t adopting giant waste on the public dime. Yang’s plan addresses both.

Bernie’s plan is similar - moving to M4A over time by lowering age every year to incorporate more people. AY believes that competition is the driver of low cost. Eliminating private insurance immediately isn’t Bernie’s plan, nor is it the will of the people. It’s Authoritarian.

Really I thought Bernie's plan was to create a public option. Imo this is the best way to provide healthcare and this is the one area is say Bernie is better than Yang.

I realise that it says he won't switch to public healthcare but it states that he wants a system where everyone is covered and believes in healthcare as a human right. But again I disagree with him here and this is the weakest part of his policy, I won't defend it.pic.twitter.com/6UjwXdoIeS

He does however want publicly provided drugs to control drug prices, to get rid of pharmaceutical lobbying and to prevent unnecessary treatments. A yang presidency won't lead to increased healthcare costs compared to currently.
