No, that's not what I believe. As you already know. But Trump absolutely withheld aid for personal political gain and that's an abuse of power. (that I'm against the aid as policy is irrelevant). I've already stated I'd vote yes on article 1 and no on article 2.

You can theoretically separate #2 from #1 but the articles of impeachment explicitly fuse them together, as evidenced by a huge body of evidence, including the text of the actual impeachment articles. So #1 and #2 are inseparable in the context of this impeachment vote.

I read both articles. There’s nonsense on Russia in there but Article 1 is pretty clear in describing Trump and Ukraine. Your argument hinges on semantics—a lawmaker shouldn’t vote yes on clear wrongdoing by the president when it comes to Ukraine bc there’s stuff in the articles
