I'm a @TulsiGabbard supporter on many things but a present vote on impeachment is not about finding the center or bridging the divide. Irregardless of the merits of impeaching Trump, this vote is not leadership. You vote yes or nohttps://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard/status/1207753618935308288 …

By repudiating both the crazy Cold Warrior pro-impeachment Democrats and the crazy Trump-valorizing anti-impeachment Republicans Tulsi made a more significant statement than anyone else in the chamber.

Disagree. Unlike Russiagate, there is legitimacy to the concern over Trump's dealings with Ukraine. I say that as someone without Trump derangement syndrome. Instead of repudiation, it comes off Warren-esque: trying to be everything to everyone.

And she did express concerns over some aspects of Trump's dealings with Ukraine (see censure resolution) while still correctly realizing that the Adam Schiff-managed impeachment, full of national security state apparatchiks, was fatally flawed.

Adam Schiff/partisan Democrat Party circus is a separate issue. The issue is whether she as a Congressman thinks the President committed impeachable crimes. Voters--particularly for president--deserve to know where she stands. And as much as I respect her genuine philosophy..

Do you believe Trump "betrayed the Nation" and committed treason by helping Russia? Do you believe that he "solicited foreign interference" by making a joke about Hillary's emails in 2016? Because you'd have to believe both those things in order to vote YES on the first article

While acknowledging Russiagate was absurd (as I've said since 2016), any objective person who read Muller Report would conclude Trump obstructed justice several times (obstruction a criminal investigation is still a crime even if there is no underlying crime)j

and Democratic Party theatrics aside (which is certainly true), Trump clearly tried to dangle foreign aid over a foreign leader to harm a political opponent (an opponent I have no regard for). He did so when he could have just went to his DOJ. You can think Russiagate is bogus..

while simultaneously acknowledging Trump abused his office to interfere with that investigation. You can also think Russiagate is bogus while simultaneously having working ears---the Trump/Ukraine call clearly showed an impeachable offense. It's not even a close call.
