I looked at this thread and my immediate response was to retweet it myself. I think Wendell Potter's outline of the parallel events during this timeline are pretty damning. Yes.

Did Mayor Resume really think that this wasn't going to come to light? With this kind of mark on his record, who told him that he had a viable path to the nomination?

My first thought would be leaders in the insurance industry. Why not Pete? He's young, smart, charismatic. Being gay will resonate with young voters. They vetted him, and hid his past work with an NDA. It's possible, or maybe I just need a tinfoil hat.

An insurance company does not have to be for-profit to be a vulture. BC/BS is non-profit (huge salaries for the executives, company-owned jet, stuff like that). I have such a vulture in my town; UPMC has monopolized health care in my town (Pittsburgh).

As
@AndrewYang would say, corporations exist to return value to their shareholders. It is up to our government to change their incentives to put#HumanityFirst. Pete is just a pawn in a much larger game.pic.twitter.com/t1MIkuSrGuThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

It's funny how these corp Dems want to give American's the choice to be sick and go bankrupt instead of a single payer
#MedicareForAll. Quite frankly, predatory companies should not exist and the government is the only thing that can stop them.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
