I don't think it's that they don't view Sanders' policies as an existential threat. It's more that they are so detached that Bernie winning the nomination is beyond their comprehension so they don't model it in their predictions. Be like.. So, the moon is actually made of cheese!

I think the corp media assault on Sanders for months---and until recently lovefest for Warren--contradicts this. They're not detached at thought of Sanders winning. This is why they've provided endless quotes and fodder for print, digital, and cable outlets to attack Sanders.

Sanders is much tougher on the billionaire class, no doubt about it. But the corporate donor class *perceives* Warren as more electable ( in the dem primary) than Sanders so they view her as a more imminent and dire threat to their status.
