Germany, France, Denmark, Ireland and other countries tried a wealth tax and repealed it later. If we can’t learn from the experience of other countries then we have very limited data to rely upon when setting policy.

Yang is in the wrong primary. He and
@PeteButtigieg are both different sections of the technocratic-neoliberal echo chamber. They talk logic but what they mean is privilege and inequality is natural & should just be managed w/ minimal disruption. -
that... is the exact opposite of andrew yang. he is literally GIVING PEOPLE BASIC INCOME, if that isn't major disruption of the norm, than I don't know what is. UBI is the most direct form of wealth redistribution.

The Vat would have address this better since there’s no way around a vat. There are ways around the wealth tax.

Vat is a regressive tax.

He's wrong about people fleeing, but he's not wrong that the wealth tax would have very low compliance. Let's say I'm a billionaire and I buy a bunch of cars and paintings, how would the US govt know I own those things to tax me on it?

yang believes in UBI as a more effective alternative to $15 min wage. Also, he has a different tax plan that wouldn't lead to wealthy flight while still having them pay their fair share. give me a break!
