Automation and a jobless economy is inevitable if you have a defeatist attitude and allow corporations (who have bought our government) to do whatever the hell they want and lay off however many they want. A true leader would not let corporations do as they please and would set

UBI OR social welfare is a disaster. Just one medical bankruptcy would eat that UBI up for the whole year. He need to M4A if he wants UBI to be at all convincing

He does have an intention of putting M4A in place: https://www.yang2020.com/policies/medicare-for-all/ …

His UBI stacks with Social Security, Medicare, Veterans disability, and Section 8. Please dont spread that misinformation that it doesnt stack on any. And the goal of both UBI and welfare is to lift people out of the poverty line of 12K a year. They are redundant w/each other

It is demonstrably and objectively the most progressive policy that has been proposed by any candidate for president in America since the late 70s

Automation- definitely an inevitability that we should prepare for. I agree w/Yang that min wage should be set by living costs per state/zip code. BUT there should be an upper cap on who can receive the UBI. You shouldn't have to pick between disability & UBI or SS & UBI, either.

I like the idea of combining
@AndrewYang UBI and@BernieSanders federal job guarantee for ex-cons 1st 3 years out of prison to lower the recidivism rate by providing stability to rebuild their lives. Not convinced of either ones effectiveness beyond a transitionary measure thoughThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
