Im going to keep saying it until it happens lol, but I hope Bernie or Tulsi comes out with a progressive UBI that is tied directly to war. More war=less ubi, less war=more ubi. Helping ppl while forcing attention to foreign policy.

When we have all laws & regulations in place like Sweden, then we can talk UBI. Otherwise it's a joke. Yang in one interview said , that he would rid of Social security&other safety net programs. He is not serious enough. He solves every problem w 1k a month.

15$/hr is also a joke under conditions we have. It'd be enough, only if Free healthcare (w dental) Free child care Free College Paid sick leave Paid 4 week Vacation Affordable housing Fully developed efficient Public transportation

No, he wants to raise the income floor by 12k a year for everyone over 18. That means retired folks, vets, all of the millions currently left out by the welfare system. We can help the most vulnerable amongst us and not put the burden on small businesses.

Yang supports a $1000/month plan that is the equivalent of a $6 raise for full time workers, doesn't put the financial burden on small businesses, and recognizes the unpaid work of caregivers and stay at home parents. That's way better for most people.

He also supports Medicare for all. Which does have an option to buy additional coverage, meaning it won't put the insurance companies out of business, so it should be easier to pass. Some might prefer no "option", but doing that puts them all out of business, and makes it harder.

Bernie ONLY wants to raise the minimum wage to $15 by 2024.
#Yang2020 wants to give everyone $1000/month#UBI in addition to raising the min wage. Min wage only helps some.#UniversalBasicIncome helps everyone without conditions like the ones currently on other public assistance.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Uhm ... if you get an extra $1,000 a month and work a 35 hour week, that's like about an extra $6.50 an hour. Or maybe you can work fewer hours and still get about the same take home pay and have more time with kids, or spend less on day care.
