Correct me if I’m wrong but if you’re talkin about the 1994 tough on crime law or whatever didn’t Bernie also vote for it. He voted but even if he didn’t support the entirety of the idea of the bill is it fair to say that about Biden but not Bernie?
-
Well, if articles are to be believed, than Sanders did vote for it, but as a compromise and often spoke out against mass incarceration since then, and continues to do so. The big difference is Bernie has progressed since then, Biden has not.

Not to mention "Speaking in 1975, when he opposed mandated busing policy designed to end segregation in schools" - TheWashingtonPost. Like
@HillaryClinton, Biden changes his views on civil rights to suit voting constituents. We need someone with a stronger moral backbone for Prez -

It would be effed up if he wronged an oppressed minority. Imagine entire generations? Every black voter Biden has is a mystery to me. Is he really twice as popular as Bernie in the black demographic? I mean.. he rallied with MLK.. its like.. !!! No words.

At the time that bill was praised by both parties and also many African American agencies endorsed it and was supported highly in polls. Hindsight is easy however at the time critics were few and far between

This would be a better tweet if African Americans didn’t strongly support Biden rn

Why can't blacks support Kamala Harris instead? She's by far the best candidate running and somehow losing to an octogenarian and Pocahontas.
