If Biden is the eventual nominee, every Bernie stan who continues to push this bullshit will be just as culpable in Trump’s re-election as they were in 2016. In fact, they’ll be even more so, since there is now tangible evidence of the damage Trump can do in office. https://twitter.com/JordanChariton/status/1151649081883877377 …

If Biden is the nominee—don’t look at Bernie voters. Look at the turnout being depressed just like it was in 2016 among African Americans, Latinos, and ages 18-29. The same thing will happen for a similarly uninspiring candidate.

From 538: “Morning Consult found Biden getting 40 percent of the vote among a national sample of about 2,900 black Democrats, with Sanders at 24 percent A Quinnipiac poll...similarly found Biden with 44 percent support among black Democrats, with Sanders in second at 17 percent.”

Doesn’t matter what percent Biden gets of the black vote if there are LESS BLACK VOTERS turning out.
@HillaryClinton got 88% of the black vote who voter. Problem is 5% less black people (and Latinos) came out in 2016 vs 2012. That was what lost her the election.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
And @BernieSanders won the millennial black vote. And whoever the candidate is—he or she will need an unprecedented number of young voters out. Like Clinton, Biden will not draw that out. By the data, Bernie does.
