notion that Russia got Trump elected is predominately held by Dems living on the east or west coast—which are the predominate folks who live in a bubble not directly seeing and feeling the economic despair everywhere else (I live in NYC and most people I talk to acknowledge this)

To be honest, no I don't. I covered more rallies in MI and PA than anywhere else (also a few in WI). Being in the Midwest, I never heard a thing about WikiLeaks emails--even as they were coming out. You also have to remember...most voters and people who attend rallies are not

political die hards like us...most didn't read the emails or stories about them. Most just got sucked in and bought the bs Trump was selling. I think Russia helping Trump is equivalent to comfort food. It makes you feel better but is bad for you too.
