Kamala very clearly stated "I'm for medicare for all", then when pressed on private health insurance companies she said "I'm for supplemental private insurance". That's the exact right answer and it's politically clever and sells even better than Bernie's answer. #CNNTownHallhttps://twitter.com/KyleKulinski/status/1120511250776113152 …

I don't believe a word of what she says. But her answer tonight is 100% the correct answer and more politically savvy than Bernie.

she's competing against about 1000 centrists and is polling at 1/2 of what she was in february. she's third place in her own state. she ain't gonna challenge anyone.

I agree with Kyle because even in the UK, where we go a step beyond medical for all and have a fully nationalised health care system, we can still get supplemental healthcare if we want to, for example, get minor operations done in a few days instead of a few weeks or months

Or if we want to stay in a hospital where we get our own room and has food more like a 5 star hotel. Some of the better companies offer these perks. And they’re better than the health insurance companies in the US because they have to compete with something that’s free
