1% maxed out. So approximately 2180 donated $2800 each, or about $6.1 million.

So $6.1 million of $12 million came from max donations—or half were maxed out

The AIPAC expose show how events are used to pool individual donors who would not have $2,700 in most cases but they get a boost from a wealthy person with a funds transfer between citizens. It flies under the radar of the IRS.

It's the new thing for this cycle. Even Bernie is doing it - to help him hit 1 million donations this weekend folks were divvying up $5 into 5 contributions. It's silly and misleading and the ONLY metric that matters is unique donors.

Let's not forget the game being played by Beto of accepting contributions for the GENERAL election and then lumping that in with his total $ numbers.pic.twitter.com/OqzA2EW2IK

Bernie did this all throughout 2016 and his supporters openly discussed how they were breaking their donations up into tiny increments to keep the number of donations high and get the average amount down to $27. They are doing it again this year. But you don't have a problem?
