This is the most stunning comment I've heard a news executive say. If as journalists you're not equipped to investigate, what exactly is it that you? Just regurgitate what the actual "investigators" (CIA, FBI, Homeland Security) tell you?https://twitter.com/brianstelter/status/1110382144390656000 …

Most everyone else knows exactly what he was talking about -- that journalists aren't federal investigators with Mueller type powers.

I also find it weird that folks who purport to be sceptical about the state and its actors have swallowed whole, a summary of a report no one has seen, from a Trump partisan put in place to run interference. Come to think of it, it figures.

Swallow hole? Barr quoted directly from Mueller on the CORE charge and reason for the investigation—collusion. Do you actually think Barr misquoted Mueller or is lying about what Mueller concluded?

Journalism isnt a zero sum game, Jordan. Mueller not finding prosecutable crimes in the many meetings between Team Trump & Russian intel ops doesnt invalidate all reporting on the subject. The whys havent been answered, and we need to see the report. btw, you forgot obstruction.

I am not invalidating reporting on Trump and Russia. I am calling out SPECULATION AND PROPAGANDA related to Russian collusion during campaign. There was NEVER facts to support that-just speculation and wishful thinking
