I don't think the criticism is about coverage of Manafort, Flynn, Cohen, etc--all should have been covered. It was projecting unrelated stories/reaching on many others to push a narrative of collusion--when the most basic research and common sense didn't support that

Sources? CNN also has a lot of ex intel & other government workers who know the inner workings from 1st hand experience. So they have expert interpretations. They might not know specifics of a case but they are more knowledgeable in drawing parallels. They also have sources
