When the US goes around the world telling other people how to set up goverments they never recommend electoral colleges.

As a South Carolinian, it sucks cause it makes you feel like your vote doesn’t matter if you’re not voting red. I have a lot of friends that didn’t vote because they said it “doesn’t matter”. We need to end the electoral college. Period.

Same thing in NY , if you're not a NYC Democrat. Or a Dem in Tx, or a Rep in CA, etc.

We are a nation of united states, each individual in their own right. The founders recognized this and formed the government so that each state has equal representation in the government. If not for the electoral college the residents of NYC and California would choose the POTUS
-
Proportional electoral voting, like NE & ME. CA Dems,NY Dems,IL Dems & TX Reps, etc all lose some & opponents get some. ~Eveybody's vote matters

I agree. Democrats- politicians and citizens that complain about the Electoral college should also acknowledge that super delegates are undemocratic. Instead we get- ‘These are the rules’
-
I do agree that superdelegates are disgustingly undemocratic, and need to be removed. That said, the electoral college does not even do what it was intended to do. It has basically been twisted and weaponized by fascist elements by targeting red states to cheat the population.

The electoral college made sense before the telegraph was invented. It has been unnecessary for at least a century now.
