For ten years, I've co-presented and produced a show airing on RT and in ten years I've never once received an email, phone call or text from anyone at RT with any editorial input at all let alone control.

The only three times we've been asked NOT to cover a topic - ie censored - was from UK regulators who said we couldn't cover these three topics: Scottish IndyRef, the Brexit vote and George Osborne's Help to Buy scheme.

That's the most sickening part of it all. The major news organizations can simply claim a news provider has ties to Russia and silence them. No due process, no "freedom of the press", "or speech" if someone challenges their narrative then they pile on the Russia "evidence".
