Not the only reason for sky high costs. Hospitals and drugs are major culprits.

Australia has medicare for all, plus a private industry. It can be done.

That said, I personally find the concept of private health pretty abhorrent, just saying a hybrid model is possible so dont throw out the baby with the bathwater.

No reason to not have insurance available for those who want it. I suspect you know at least one person who would reject
#M4A as "charity". Forcing people to use M4A would be like the ACA mandate. It's for-profit providers that have to go.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

She's essentially the establishment candidate at this point - no way she can truly support it.

lIf she was candidate worth considering, she would have developed detailed plans a long time ago that she's promoting, instead of coming up with "ideas" & "policy" later like an afterthought. What are her ideas & qualifications for quickly switching to sustainable Green economy?

How is it the reason for high costs?
-
Because it's a business that needs to generate profit, every single part of that system, from a bandaid to a neurosurgeon has a markup added for them to profit. Every $ profit you pay to every private entity along the chain is a $ that could be spent on more healthcare under M4A
