An excellent discussion where @aaronjmate states what has become quite clear to me, "what people don't realize is that it's a giant case of projection... this alleged Russian psy-op that we're all supposed to be scared about, we're really doing it to ourselves"https://twitter.com/JordanChariton/status/1074688575004962818 …

I’m rapidly losing faith in you, man. You don’t get that a foreign power can incite discord! That such things are what they’re designed to do? If somebody yelled “fire!” in a theatre you’d blame the people who got trampled for their own deaths.

You’re entitled to your opinion—if you watch the interview, Aaron’s facts are unimpeachable. And this whole “sow discord” thing...you make it seem like American voters are so vulnerable they are being BRAINWASHED by Russia. It’s absurd

You are making an EMPIRICAL claim that voters in the key states voted for Donald Trump because of Russian influence in the election. You are making it with ZERO data or even sensible way to prove that. "People don't always consciously know why they do what they do"...REALLY? This

is your rationale for these voters voting for Trump because of Russia? I truly don't mean to be insulting, but you don't see why that is grasping at major straws. I can only tell you I interviewed hundreds of these people....it wasn't Russia man. That doesn't mean there isn't

a need to investigate Trump's financial ties to Russia and whether there was improper collaboration between Trump's campaign and Russia. I think there is. But it's just a totally fact-free, evidence-free argument to make that Rust Belt voters voted for Trump bc of Russia. Read

the exit polls, watch interviews with voters from those states. It literally has NOTHING to do with it.
