MI official came to Amanda's home & illegally ran her water for a minute b4 taking lead sample--a violation of EPA regulations (artificially lowers level). Result: they told her no lead in her water. She has thyroid cancer. #FlintWaterCrisis INVESTIGATION: https://medium.com/status-coup/exclusive-flint-water-declared-restored-after-michigan-s-environmental-agency-broke-epa-testing-3e2fc1f91a70 …pic.twitter.com/5nrgCwVIXa

Jordan I love you to bits. Do your thing, man.
To be clear, EPA provides guidelines and some reg, like zero lead allowed. States can enhance but not detract. Michigan enhanced the reg to exclude flushing, which is GREAT. I think your reporting could force 50 state regs on it. -
Love you too—but read EPA Lead and Copper RULE. This is not a federal guideline. It’s a rule that water agencies are MANDATED to follow.
