MI official came to Amanda's home & illegally ran her water for a minute b4 taking lead sample--a violation of EPA regulations (artificially lowers level). Result: they told her no lead in her water. She has thyroid cancer. #FlintWaterCrisis INVESTIGATION: https://medium.com/status-coup/exclusive-flint-water-declared-restored-after-michigan-s-environmental-agency-broke-epa-testing-3e2fc1f91a70 …pic.twitter.com/5nrgCwVIXa

In Michigan. If it were a Fed EPA law 50 states would have the same test regs. There is zero lead tolerance by Fed EPA in drinking water. I won't argue. You're doing good work.pic.twitter.com/eWoV1vYmGX

The testing I looked into was the EPA regulatory compliance testing Michigan did...meaning they had to follow the EPA's lead and copper rule (which outlaws against flushing). So what I found was indeed illegal. As
@ErinBrockovich pointed out in the story--criminal. - Show replies
